Transparent Trio


I am intrigued by transparencies, whether it is glass, bubbles or water. Years ago I took a small wooden cabinet to a painting class and this is the result. Do you have a cherished item that you would like to revive? Oil on wood.

I was asked to paint this child’s table and chairs set for a charity auction years ago. Each chair had a different tropical bird on it. Off it went for a good cause to the highest bidder. Acrylics on wood.
In the early 80s I moved from the country to a larger town where I discovered a small mother/daughter owned craft shop. The inspiration for this bread box was born there. Oil on wood.
Holiday Candle
I created this design during a time when painting customized clothing had to be done by hand. Forty years down the road and the fabric paint still looks new.
Nashville Skyline
